The North Tarrant Express Segment 3A will provide for the reconstruction of the freeway and the addition of managed lanes on a congested segment of IH 35W in Fort Worth. The project consists of widening and reconstructing 6.5 miles of four- to six-lane highway and the addition of four-lane managed high-occupancy vehicle lanes in the median.

Ferrovial Agroman is the lead contractor responsible for design and construction under a lump-sum, fixed-price and fixed-schedule.
