T2A Construction Completion

Heathrow’s new Terminal 2 A has been handed over by the Ferrovial Agroman and Laing O’Rourke joint venture company - HETCo.

This important 19th November 2013 milestone marks the end of the construction completion phase and represents the culmination of 5 years of dedicated teamwork for more than 5,000 workers and staff.

Representatives from HAL and HETCo walked through the terminal and reviewed the building today, declaring T2A a PPE (personal protection equipment) free zone which officially marks the transition to the Operational Readiness test period.

The first flight is set to land at terminal 2 on 4th June 2013.
