Ferrovial a winner in the 2012 Capital Humano Awards

Ferrovial has been selected as a prize-winner in the Strategic Policy Training and Development category, in recognition for its pioneering role in the sector, setting up Universitas Ferrovial Summa and for establishing a training itinerary for the entire chain of command, all linked to the results of feedback 360º.

Jaime Aguirre de Cárcer, Ferrovial’s Human Resources General Manager, collected the prize at the Madrid headquarters of the Deusto Business School, stating “la Universitas Ferrovial Summa was founded to drive forward our corporate culture. Over these last 5 years it has also established itself as a forum in which new ideas and projects can be exchanged, while promoting the advancement of managerial staff at our company”.

The Capital Humano awards for Human Resource Management recognise professionalism in the field, advances in terms management tools and techniques, and managing and motivating staff at the heart of companies. In this 16th edition of the awards the jury identified innovation and a concern for the development of people amid the current adverse climate as common threads linking the majority of the candidates.

The jury was comprised of representatives from Spain’s leading business schools: IESE, Esade, EADA, Escuela de Administración de Empresas, IE Business School, ESIC, EOI, Comillas, Deusto Business School and Instituto Internacional de San Telmo. More than 80 companies won prizes in these awards, which aim to recognise and highlight best policies, standout careers and most successful approaches to HR management at Spanish businesses and organisations.
